Ingredients
For the salmon:
- 2 salmon fillets (120-180 g each)
- 30 ml olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (2.5 g)
- 1/2 tsp cumin (2.5 g)
- 1/2 tsp onion powder (2.5 g)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (1.25 g)
- 1/4 tsp salt (1.25 g)
For the avocado salsa:
- 1 ripe avocado (diced)
- 80 g tomato (diced)
- 2 tbsp onion (diced, about 30 g)
- 2 tbsp cilantro (chopped, about 5 g)
- 15 ml olive oil
- 15 ml lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the salmon:
- Mix olive oil, garlic, and spices in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture over the salmon fillets.

Cook the salmon:
- Heat a non-stick pan or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook salmon for 5-6 minutes on each side until done.

Make the avocado salsa:
- Combine avocado, tomato, onion, and cilantro in a bowl.
- Add olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.

Serve:
- Top the cooked salmon with avocado salsa and enjoy!
Optional Baking Method:
Preheat oven to 200°C. Bake salmon on a sheet pan for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
